Casa Tierra (Earth House) recalls haciendas of Old Mexico. The all-adobe home features over fifty arches and includes entryways with vaulted brick ceilings, beautiful interior arches, handpainted doors, a central courtyard with a fountain, and 5 acres of majestic Sonoran Desert to explore. Each of the sun-baked adobe bricks was left exposed, so the natural color and texture can be appreciated. Hand-made ceramic lights are found throughout the inn, while the viga and latilla ceilings, brick floors, and brightly patterned Talavera tile further enhance the feel of Mexico.

Cat Mountain Lodge

Just across the street, the Roadside Inn offers 6 uniquely themed rooms inspired by Frida Kahlo, Diego Rivera, Oaxaca, and more. Each room opens up onto a beautiful wraparound patio from which you can relax and view the beautiful desert scenery and local wildlife. Behind the Inn, enjoy an impressive pyramid of desert succulents inspired by the one Diego Rivera built for Frida Kahlo’s courtyard at La Casa Azul. One room is wheelchair accessible, and dogs are allowed in select rooms. There is WiFi throughout the Inn.

CRICKETHEAD INN BED & BREAKFAST
The Cricket Inn is at the border of Saguaro National Park West and the Tucson Mountains. It is close to Old Tucson, AZ-Sonoran Desert Museum, and Cocoraque Ranch.
All three guest rooms at Crickethead Inn have Mexican tile bathrooms, a porch on the front, and a shared patio on the back. The rooms have queen beds, polished brick floors, and beam ceilings. Each room also has High-speed Internet, a microwave, and a shared-use refrigerator.
A unique feature of the Crickethead Inn is the use of textiles from Indonesia. Batiks, as well as ikat, sotis, and buna (weaving techniques), can be seen in every room.

Hacienda Linda’s six acres borders the Saguaro National Park and Tucson Mountain Range. It is a short drive to the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum and Old Tucson Studios, and a 30-minute drive to downtown Tucson.
Hacienda Linda is an artist’s retreat, where world-famous photographers, painters, and writers have enjoyed a stay.
Wildlife are drawn to the watering hole. You will see many varieties of birds and might catch glimpses of bobcats, coyotes, javelina, deer, foxes, and jackrabbits.
Guest bedrooms are located on opposite sides of the home for complete privacy. Both rooms have windows facing Saguaro National Park and satellite TV, a mini-fridge, and a coffee maker. Tempur-pedic beds and private baths make you stay as comfortable as possible.

THE JTH TUCSON
The JTH Tucson (Joshua Tree House in Tucson) is a five-suite inn bordering Saguaro National Park West. The owners describe the Inn as “a place to reflect, reset, and create in awe-inspiring natural locations.” It is located on 38 acres within the saguaro forest in the Sonoran Desert. Guests will enjoy an abundance of wildlife, sunsets, and desert serenity.

Rocking M Ranch is a ten-acre bed & breakfast and vacation rental which offers overnight horse boarding. Rocking M Ranch is a low profile operation catering to those looking for a place in the country, off the beaten path. MIRA VISTA RESORT
Mira Vista Resort opened in 2006 as a clothing-optional resort. The fourteen guest suites and rooms are located in several historic Southwest adobe buildings. Almost no two are alike, and they have been beautifully renovated while retaining their original character. The 30-acre grounds are filled with mature trees, saguaro cacti, and many other native desert plants. Desert animals and birds are plentiful, and sightings are frequent in this mostly rural area.
Premium suites have separate bedrooms and sitting rooms, while standard rooms have cozy sitting areas in the main room. Each room has Direct TV, a coffee maker, refrigerator, and WiFi. Most have furnished outdoor patios opening onto walkways meandering around beautiful desert cacti, flowers, and trees.
Mira Vista Resort features an elegant main building, four pools and spas, full-service restaurant, cantina bar, clubhouse/lounge with full bar, recreation and conference room, fully-equipped fitness center, three pickleball courts, and massage. SNYDER HILL – BLM CAMP
Snyder Hill is a BLM (Bureau of Land Management) campsite that allows tent and RV camping. Snyder Hill does not have amenities and is not a developed campground. Make sure you bring everything you need and, most importantly, plenty of water.
Camping on public lands away from developed recreation facilities is referred to as dispersed camping. There is no way to reserve a dispersed camping spot, so it is recommended to arrive early and in the daylight.
Snyder Hill is conveniently located near Casino Del Sol and not far from Old Tucson, Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum and Saguaro National Park.

GILBERT RAY CAMPGROUND
Gilbert Ray Campgrounds is a county facility with RV camping and tent camping available. There are five campsites designated tent only, however, tenters are welcome to camp in an RV site but are not permitted to use electric hook-ups. It has centrally located water, picnic tables, restrooms, however, shower facilities are not available. The busiest season is November through April. Bring your charcoal or gas . . . wood fires are prohibited.
It is conveniently located between Old Tucson and the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum near Saguaro National Park.
